Activities at Bonita Creek

• Bird and wildlife watching
  (Be sure bring binoculars and a bird identification book!)
• Nature walk – try to identify native plants
• Exercise – take a walk or jog along the trail
• Take your dog for a walk. Dogs must remain on leashes that are less than 10 feet long.

Safety

• Obey all posted safety rules
• Park in designated areas
• Stay on the paved path at all times
• Wear sunscreen and a hat
• Bring water to drink

In order to protect Bonita Creek and its plants and wildlife - Please do not:

• Disturb any form of plant or animal life: birds, nests, eggs, plants, mammals, fish, insects, amphibians, or reptiles
• Release any fish or animals, including domestic species, or introduce plants into the area
• Feed wildlife - feeding birds and animals makes them dependent on people and could attract them into open areas where they are vulnerable to predators
• Collect specimens unless you have a scientific collecting permit from the Fish and Game Commission
• Leave trash or food
• Fire or discharge any firearm, bow and arrow, air or gas gun or any other weapon
• Smoke on trails
